Trezeguet scores, assists in Anderlecht friendly victory –

Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ has scored and assisted in Anderlecht’s 4-1 friendly win over Oud-Heverlee Leuven on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old Egyptian midfielder came on as a substitute at the one-hour mark and managed to provide the assist for his side’s third goal and score the fourth.


Zamalek’s Obama extends Ittihad loan –

Zamalek striker Youssef Ibrahim ‘Obama’ has extended his loan at Ittihad of Alexandriafor another season.
The 21-year-old spent the 2015/16 season at Ittihad, where he scored seven goals in 31 games to become the club’s top scorer.


Stoke City agree £3.5m fee for Al Ahly’s Ramadan Sobhi – source –

Stoke City have agreed a £3.5 million fee for Egypt international Ramadan Sobhi, a source close to the player has told ESPN FC.
Sources told ESPN FC last month that Stoke had made a bid for Al Ahly attacking midfielder Sobhi, 19, who had also attracted interest from Arsenal and Roma.


Al-Ahly faces counterpart Zamalek at Suez Stadium July 9

Al-Ahly Sporting Club is scheduled to face its counterpart Zamalek July 9 as part of the Egyptian Derby. The match will be held at Suez Stadium after the Interior Ministry rejected to hold it at Betrosport Stadium over security concerns.
