89 Egyptian artifacts up for auction in Bonhams

A total of 89 Egyptian archeological artifacts have been put up for an auction in London-based Bonhams Auction house Friday, although the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, via the Foreign Ministry, has requested to stop the sale, Youm7 reported.


Lebanese singer Nancy Agram sues Egyptian Cosmetics Company

Lebanese singer Nancy Agram has filed a lawsuit against an Egyptian Cosmetics company over putting her photos in ads for the company without her permission to promote a hair product. She asked for 2 billion EGP in compensation, Youm7 reported.


Giza Pyramids sees 10.5K visitors 3rd day of Eid el-Fitr

Egyptologist Ashraf Mohey, the head of Giza Pyramids district, told Youm7 Saturday that Giza pyramids has witnessed a total of 10,500 Egyptians and foreigners visitors on Friday, the second day of Eid el-Fitr. The turnout of the visitors was higher in the second day as the area received a total of 17,000 visitors Thursday.
