Ittihad Jeddah presented Egypt international Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ via a press conference, after the player completed his switch from Zamalek.

Following his clash with the Zamalek coaching staff in his side’s 0-0 Cairo Derby draw against Al Ahly, an investigation into the issue was opened, before the Saudi giants reached an agreement with Zamalek to secure Kahraba’s services on a season-long loan.

Anderlecht bounced back from a preseason winless run to record a 3-1 comeback win over Heerenveen that saw Mahmoud Trezeguet score off the substitute’s bench.
