CAIRO:Ahmed Khairy, an academic researcher, has discussed a case study on how the breaking news converge could participate in lifting Egyptian government’s blackout on certain issues since the outbreak of January 25, 2011 Uprising.
Being the most-circulated and read newspaper in Egypt and Middle East, Al-Youm Al-Sabei (Youm7) was chosen to be an example for newspapers that follow such strategy in the study, which has been discussed in Columbia-based Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) last week.
