Underground bands perform concert Saturday

Underground music bands of Kairokee, Sharmoofers and Singer Zap Tharwat will perform a concert together on Saturday at a Marina beach in North Coast.

 

Regional Festival for Theatre clubs kicks off Tuesday

Regional Festival for Theatre clubs will kick off Tuesday and is expected to last until August 15 at Ismailia Cultural Palace, reported Youm7.

A total of 14 performances from Canal governorates and Sinai will participate in the events.

 

1st Polish flight lands in Sharm el-Sheikh since Oct. 2015

A flight coming from Poland arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh Tuesday, carrying 180 tourists; this is the first Polish flight since the Russian plane crash accident in the Red Sea resort city last October.

 

In pics: Restoration of Malawy museum

Youm7 has published pictures of restoration works at Malawy museum that started Sunday in Upper Egypt’s Minya governorate.

In August 2013, the museum was subjected to looting and damages allegedly by members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood group, in riot acts following the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi.

The museum is also believed to be stolen in the aftermath of the events of the January 25 Revolution in 2011.

 

Aug. 18: Omar Khairat holds concert on White Bay’s beach

Musician Omar Khairat will hold a concert on White Bay’s beach in North Coast on August 18, according to De Cairo website.

Attendees will be dressed in white on that day.

Ticket prices: 150, 300, 550, 750 EGP.
