Sisi: 2014 constitution guaranteed wide powers to parliament

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi said that the 2014 constitution has provided the parliament with wide powers besides, during a ceremony marking the 150th anniversary of the Egyptian Parliament.

Sisi congratulated people and members of parliament, assuring the maturity of the political experience.

 

Egypt votes for 2 resolutions supporting Syria truce at UN Security Council 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that Egypt has voted in favor of two draft resolutions at the UN Security Council aiming to reach truce in Syria, especially in the city of Aleppo.

The first resolution was passed by France and Spain, while the second one was submitted by Russia.
