Bomb found near Sinai school dismantled harmlessly

North Sinai forces managed to harmlessly dismantle an explosive device found near a primary school in central Arish City, Youm7 reported Tuesday.

Residents have reported seeing a “strange body” near Abu Bakr el-Seddiq School, and then forces were deployed to the site, evacuated the students and cordoned the school.


FM flies to Ethiopia for high-level meeting on Libya

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry departed Tuesday on an Ethiopia-bound flight to participate in a high-level meeting on Libya, Youm7 reported.

The joint meeting of the African commission will be attended by a group of Libya-neighboring countries.


Parliament committee meets foreign ambassadors to discuss bilateral cooperation

The Foreign Affairs committee at the parliament will be meeting Tuesday with foreign ambassadors to discuss bilateral issues and cooperation.

As part of his agenda Tuesday, Ahmed Saeed, the head of the parliamentary committee, said he will receive both ambassadors of Canada and Japan as part of a new strategy set by the committee aiming to communicate with a large number of foreign representatives on a daily basis.
