Sisi meets with European Commissioner for Migration

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will meet with European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs, and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos on Monday, Youm7 reported.

Both sides will tackle the latest regional and international issues, particularly the migration and the Egyptian efforts in combating the illegal migration.

Avramopoulos will also meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Monday for discussing the bilateral relations.

 

Egyptian-Jordanian militaries continue Aqaba 2016 drills

Egyptian and Jordanian militaries continued exercises (Aqaba 2016) on Monday in southern Hashemite Kingdom, said Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesperson Mohamed Samir in a statement.

Egyptian ground and maritime forces arrived in Jordan’s Aqaba maritime port on Monday, he added, noting that the dills will last to Nov. 25.

 

Head of Italian Central Directorate for Immigration and Border arrives in Egypt

Director of the Italian Central Directorate for Immigration and Border Police Giovanni Pinto arrived in the Cairo International Airport on Monday in a two-day visit, Youm7 reported an official from the airport.

He will discuss the file of the illegal migration and the international efforts to control this phenomena, the official added.

 

Officially Shobky announced MP by Legislative Committee

The legislative Committee of the House of the Parliament has approved on a court decision to annul the membership of the parliamentarian Ahmed Mortada and appointing politician Amr al-Shobky, who was a member of 50-Member Committee that tasked to draft 2014 constitution, in his post, Parlamany reported on Monday.

Shobky has won the right to represent Dokki and Agouza constituency in parliament and replace MP Ahmed Mortada Mansour, whose membership was deemed void per court ruling.
