European Union declared, Friday, its concerns about the assassination attempt on Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim.
The spokesperson of EU High Representative, Catherine Ashton, following yesterday’s bomb attack on the minister of interior sent a statement to the Egyptian embassies.
“The High Representative is greatly concerned about yesterday’s bomb attack on the Egyptian Minister of Interior,” the statement read.
The statement continued, “she deplores the casualties and her thoughts are with the families who have been affected. She condemns in the strongest terms all acts of violence, including extremist activities. Violence is never acceptable.”
