Trains in Suez returned to normal operation Sunday, following a failed attempt to bomb the railway between Suez and Ismailia Saturday.

According to the army, forces in Suez found an explosive device in the railway on Saturday, which they believe was targeting a full passenger train heading to Ismailia, but the army deactivated it.

A security source in Suez said that security measures continue to “secure citizens and trains.
