Social Fund for Development hosts school supplies exhibition

The fund building in Nasr City will host the exhibition from  Sept 10-20 

The Social Fund for Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, will organize an exhibition for school supplies from September 10 to 20, in the lead-up to the start of the school year.

According to a statement from the Fund on Sunday, the exhibition will be hosted at Social Fund building, in Nasr City, Cairo.

Dozens of small projects financed by the Fund as well as the chambers of commerce will participate in the exhibition, which will feature many products including desktop tools, brochures, notebooks, computer hardware, office furniture, and other school supplies, according to the statement.

The statement said the exhibition includes a special section for financial services, provided by the Fund, for citizens who wish to establish small and micro enterprises.

The Social Fund for Development was founded in 1991 by a presidential decree, and operates from 31 offices around the country. Its goal is to reduce poverty and unemployment, and to improve the standard of living by founding small projects for citizens with long-term loans.
