Anonymous gunmen attacked Tamarod campaign’s spokesman Mahmoud Badr, carjacking his vehicle Monday night while he was on his way to Shebein al-Qanater city, the campaign said.

Badr, member of the committee tasked with amending Egypt’s 2012 constitution, has not been harmed during the assault, the campaign added in a statement.

The attackers stole Mahmoud’s car, seizing pertaining to the 50-Members Committee, according to the campaign.

Security authorities found Mahmoud’s car with all his belongings inside, security sources told Youm7, but didn’t elaborate on the accident.
