Salafi Jihadi Group called on the Muslim Brotherhood to suspend its demand for reinstating Egypt’s former President Mohamed Morsi.
Leading member of the Salaf Jihadi Group Morgan Salem al-Johary stressed the need to sack the current government and forming a new government.
In a statement to Youm7, He added that as a large number of the Egyptians refuse Morsi’s reinstatement.
He blamed the authorities for arresting a large number of members belonging to his group, although they have not involved in any violent actions.
He said, “We do not believe in democracy. We did not participate in any elections or demonstrations to return him to the power. We were viewing Morsi as illegitimate president.”
