On Tuesday the advisory chamber of the Eastern Cairo Court will consider the appeal of 700 protestors facing 15 days detention pending investigations related to the dispersal of the pro-Muslim Brotherhood sit-in at Rabaa Al Adaweya in August.

According to the prosecution, the suspects face charges of possession of firearms and explosives, assault against security forces, inciting violence, disturbance of public order and killing 4 police officers.

Prosecution teams said they found bullets, bullet casings, firearms, Molotov cocktails, and darts along with some burnt tents after inspecting the sit-in location.
