Hilary receives the Liberty Medal

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton received the Liberty Medal during a ceremony at the National Constitution Center, Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in Philadelphia. The honor is given annually to an individual who displays courage and conviction while striving to secure liberty for people worldwide.

Mean while a protest organized by the Independence Hall Foundation, Cathy Craddock, center, and Maria Heider right, demonstrate against the National Constitution Center’s selection of Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as their Liberty Medal recipient, ahead of the ceremony.
