Czech coach stepped down following Italy’s defeat

Meshael Belek announced his resignation as a Czech national football team couch after his defeat to Italy 2-1 and his wishes condensed to qualify to the finals of the Brazil world cup 2014.

Belek said –in a press conference-following the match “I want to stay in my post ,however the  chance lost to qualify to the world cup”.

He added “we can’t qualify now and the czech union chief will decide on   the resignation   .

Czech backward away to fourth level in the second group with 9 points v 20 points to Italy which qualified to the finals officially.

Czech achieves a goal to Italy by Libour Kozak before two Italian goals in the second half.

Belek 48-years-old came to the Czech team on 2009 and led them to a quarter of the 2012 European Cup final where they lost to Portugal 1-0.
