Egypt’s army closed “al-Nasr” road, leading to Rabaa Al-Adaweya square, in both directions Saturday night.

The army and police have stepped up security on the road to block the Muslim Brotherhood protesters coming from Heliopolis heading to Rabaa Al-Adaweya.

Three cars belonging to the Central Security Forces (CSF) and two army vehicles are stationed at the nearby “Tiba Mall,” eyewitnesses told Youm7.

Anti-riot police and army troops have been deployed in the area, and sealed some parts with barbered wire. Meanwhile, some troops got up the surrounding buildings.
