Tahani Al-Gibali called the Egyptians to read the new constitution before voting

CAIRO: Former Deputy Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court Tahani Al-Gibali called for Egyptians to read the new constitution before the voting process. She said it was prepared by the 50-member committee, which respects the nation.

During the “Youth and Constitution” seminar with Cairo Governor, Minister of Sports Taher Abu Zeid, security expert Sameh Seif Yazal, and Journalist Osama Heikal, Gibali said whenever there are conspiracies, the Egyptian people will defeat them.

Gibali said the Egyptians put its constitution under difficult exceptional circumstances and the new constitution is the first document in Egypt that puts the president and its government in a position of responsibility. It enables Egypt to maintaining the unity of its lands, guarantees its people rights, and allows accounting the state authorities.
