Hisham Talaat Mustafa is an Egyptian businessman and the executive manager of the Talaat Mustafa group. He was a prominent member of the formerly ruling National Democratic Party as well as a member of the Shura Council, the upper house of the Egyptian Parliament. Mustafa also headed the Housing Committee of the Shura Council.
Mustafa became the center of a scandal when he was accused of being involved in the murder of Suzanne Tamim, a Lebanese singer, in July 2008. Mustafa was prosecuted and sentenced to 15 years for his involvement.
