Qatari students attend F1 in Schools

CAIRO, Eleven Qatari students will attendFormula One in Schools World Finals(F1 in Schools) to be held in Texas this November.

Qatari students’ mission is to design, create, manufacture and market their ownteam F1 model car andfinally competewith it in the world race finals. F1 World Challenge will getinvolved64 countries and 23,000 schoolsworldwide.

F1 in Schools is a non-profit company established byseveral partners to provide students with a challenging and learning experience through the appealing practice ofF1. Students will learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related subjects in a practical and compelling way.

According to Qatar Happening website, the Qatari teamhas already received financial support from several Qatari institutions, such as Commercial Bank, Artan Holding and AlThaumama Trading Company, but it is still looking for a Platinum Sponsor to endorse its race.

F1inSchools final goal is to encouragethe students to pursuethe engineeringpath.
