CAIRO: Minister of Education Mahmoud Abu El-Nasr ordered on Monday inspection campaigns and unannounced visits to “Muslim Brotherhood-managed” schools nationwide.
The inspection campaign began on Monday with three schools in Cairo, Fayoum and Beni Suef governorates, south of Cairo.
Inspection reports are to be delivered to the ministry soon.
The academic year started on Sunday with heightened security to ensure the safety of students, teachers and school property amidst unrest in the country since the dispersal of pro-Mohamed Morsi sit-ins near Rabaa al-Adaweya Mosque and in Nahda Square on August 14.
