CAIRO: Tamarod movement spokeswoman Mai Wahba praised the efforts made by the 50-member constitutional committee charged with amending the 2012 constitution on Monday.
“Articles that have been approved so far pave the way for the existence of a democratic state based on the principles of freedom and justice,” said Wahba.
Wahba added, “We are waiting for the articles related to social justice; the constitution must stipulate the minimum and maximum wages.”
She stated that the adoption of a mixed parliamentary and presidential political system creates a balance between authorities.
