CAIRO: The International Organization of the Muslim Brotherhood met in Turkey to discuss the challenges they face due to the ouster of Former President Mohamed Morsi, according to Sky News.

Members of the organization met on Wednesday in Istanbul as part of the International Conference of Muslim Leaders, where representatives of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, the International Union for Muslim Scholars and human rights organizations from Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Malaysia also attended.

According to Sky News, the organization’s members described the ongoing events in the Arab World as a crossroads, while referring to the situation in Egypt as an attempt to bring back the era of Former President Hosni Mubarak.

The meeting also discussed how to return the Muslim Brotherhood to power through the mobilization of civil society organizations and foreign powers, Sky News reported.
