CAIRO: The Actors Syndicate received a delegation of the Kurdish Actors Syndicate on Friday to active a cooperation protocol between the two syndicates that was approved four months ago.
Actors Syndicate leader Moasad Fouda told Youm7 late Friday that the cooperation would start with organizing workshops to train actors in the autonomous Kurdish region in northern Iraq and hold lectures about directing, editing and artistic taste.
Fouda said that the protocol would include a joined production of artworks between Egyptian and Kurdish actors.
Furthermore, there is a discussion about distributing Egyptian films in Kurdistan’s movie theaters, Fouda said.
He added that the delegation is scheduled to visit the Media Production City studios in 6 October City along with some areas in Alexandria on Saturday.
