SUEZ, EGYPT: The Red Sea Ports Authority announced its approval Sunday of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab’s decision to keep Ibrahim el-Demeiry in his position as minister of transport through the Cabinet reshuffle.
Media spokesperson of the Red Sea Ports Authority, Abdel Rahim Mustafa told Youm7 that retaining Demeiry as minister would help complete the plan to develop the body and the transport projects in Egypt.
Mustafa said all employees in the authority and in the Suez ports support the decision to keep Demeiry, especially in light of the ministry’s efforts over the past months in the development and completion of new projects at marine sites in the governorate.
He added that the employees expect more development in the coming period at ports of Suez, South Sinai, and the Red Sea.
