GAZA: The Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday allowed the entry of 230 trucks loaded with goods into the Gaza Strip via the Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing, south east of the strip.
Raed Fattouh, chairperson of the coordination committee for the entry of goods into the Gaza Strip, said in a press release that the trucks carry aid to the commercial and agricultural sectors.
Fattouh added that gasoline, diesel and cooking gas will also be pumped into the coastal enclave.
Karm Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which the Israeli authorities allow the entry of commodities into Gaza. The terminal is closed on Friday and Saturday every week.
