Fahmy calls on Egyptians in Libya to be cautious

CAIRO: Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy called on Egyptian expats in Libya to be cautious and to immediately contact the Egyptian embassy in Libya in cases of emergency, according a Sunday press release.

On the sidelines of the annual memorial lecture held by the American University in Cairo to commemorate the Egyptian diplomat Nadia Younes, Fahmy condemned the recent shooting of an Egyptian Copt in Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi.

Fahmy described it as a lamentable and criminal action.

He added that the foreign ministry is currently works on unveiling the source of these terrorist actions.
