CAIRO: Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy in remarks on Sunday condemned the killing of Egyptians in Libya, saying that the situation in Libya is not yet stable and Libyan authorities are pursuing “terrorists” and condemning the incident.
Fahmy said at an annual American University in Cairo memorial lecture honoring the memory of former diplomat Nadia Younes that Egypt cannot afford to cut its relations with southern countries and it should take responsibility for them.
“We should co-operate for our common benefit,” he said.
Fahmy also said Ukrainian police shouldn’t use “abusive force” against protesters in Ukraine.
