CAIRO: Former parliament member and Wasat Party member Tarek al-Malt said the retention of Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim in the government was “not a good choice.”
He told Youm7 Monday that Ibrahim Mahlab’s government must “focus on the Egyptian citizen and solve his problems.”
Last week Interim President Adly Mansour accepted the resignation of Hazem al-Beblawy’s government, although a number of ministers, including Minister of Defense Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Minister of Environment Laila Iskander have remained in their posts.
Malt said the government should focus on economic achievement and “avoid politics.”
