CAIRO: The Egyptian Embassy held a party in honor of the board members of the International Women’s Club of Moscow (IWC) Sunday, in an attempt to promote Russian tourism to Egypt, according to a statement released Monday.

IWC involves a number of Moscow’s leading business figures in many areas and sectors. During the celebration, the Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Mohamed El-Badri delivered a speech about the transitional phase Egypt witnesses.

Badri also highlighted Egyptian efforts to protect and secure holiday goers in Egypt. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not changed its previous recommendations that Russian tourists are safe in Egypt, reflecting confidence in Egypt’s ability to ensure the safety of Russians visiting Egypt.

The Egyptian Ambassador was also received as IWC’s guest of honor during its annual celebration, and he delivered participants free tickets and accommodation sponsored by Egypt Air and the Tourism Authority to spend vacation in Sharm el-Sheikh.
