ASYUT, Egypt: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Fathy Dawoud Bayoumi said Monday that the name Dar Heraa schools, formerly affiliated by the Muslim Brotherhood, was changed to June 30 following a ministry decision.
Bayoumi added in a press statement Sunday that a manager and financial delegate belonging to the Ministry of Education were assigned to each school, which must adhere to the curricula of the ministry.
The Muslim Brotherhood was officially dissolved in October 2013, giving the government the authority to seize all of its assets. The Brotherhood was classified as a terrorist organization on Dec. 25, 2013.
