CAIRO: Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi is due to arrive in the French capital Paris on Tuesday to attend an international meeting to support Lebanon.

The gathering will focus on providing economic assistance for Lebanon in light of the increasing refugee influx from neighboring Syria, a deputy secretary general said.

On Thursday, Arabi is expected to head for Rome to take part in the friends of Libya meeting, which will tackle different challenges faced by the government there such as security, building state institutions, drafting the country’s constitution and fighting terrorism.
