Planning minister calls on Arab countries to invest in Egypt

CAIRO: Minister of Planning Ashraf al-Araby called on Arab countries to invest in Egypt, Monday during a phone call to MBC Masr TV channel, adding that the Ministry of Planning “appreciates” the recent economic support provided by Arab and Gulf countries to Egypt.

He also called on Egyptian stakeholders to enhance cooperation mechanisms with international companies to overcome obstacles that stand in the way of completing development projects.

“The Ministry of Planning endeavors to facilitate investment procedures in an effort to help overcome the current deteriorating economic situation,” Araby added.
