Train movement in Sohag after Cairo-Aswan line fixed

SOHAG: Train movement has returned to the Sohag governorate after Railway Authority workers fixed the Cairo-Aswan line where the front cabin of a Spanish train broke down on Monday, according to a statement.

Investigations found the incident occurred due to replacement and renovation work in the area, the statement said. The authority provided two trains for the passengers to continue their journey. No injuries were reported.

The authority provided a winch from Assiut to fix the bogie that broke on the train. The criminal investigation department was assigned to investigate the incident.
