CAIRO: Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said the ministry gives top priority to issues related to Egypt’s national security and the restructure of diplomatic institutions outside Egypt. He said the Egyptian government will resume the steps it took since July 2013.
Egypt should turn to be more open towards internationally during this current phase, he added during a press conference conducted in the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday. “We did not reach the targeted level, while we face difficult challenges courageously despite the increasing pressure.”
“The ministry performed an active role on the Arab, Africa, and Europe. We have clear positions from the different issues related to the Arab world,” Fahmy said.
