CAIRO: The National Council for Women will launch Tuesday a three-day intensive training for political parties’ leaders and 120 candidates from Cairo and Giza governorates said the council’s secretary-general Ambassador Mona Amer.
Mona said that the focus of the program would be application of the 11th clause of the constitution, regarding proper representation of women in parliamentary and governmental councils. She also added that the council is seeking to train women to be able to compete in elections.
The training program includes raising women’s awareness with the electoral process, using different, and how to communicate with people in different areas.
