CAIRO: Gaza’s Tamarod Movement praised the verdict issued by Cairo Court of Urgent Matters to outlaw Hamas activities, describing it as a “historic ruling” that would “pave the way to eliminate terrorism murder and torture.”
“We congratulate the Palestinian people for the verdict that comes to restore their rights. Today, the martyrs killed by Hamas’ terrorist gangs may rest in peace in their tombs,” the group said in a Tuesday statement, and urged the Egyptian government to declare Hamas a terrorist group.
The Palestinian movement expressed appreciation to the Egyptian judiciary due to its support for the Palestinian issue. It demanded the Egyptian authorities to imprison the members of Hamas inside Egyptian territory, including Moussa Abu-Marzouk.
