LONDON: A number of major British companies are going to visit Cairo over the next few months to discuss establishing joint enterprises with Egyptian firms, according to a statement by Trade Minister Fakry Abdel Nour Tuesday.
Egypt is keen on boosting bilateral trade value along with mutual cooperation, Abdel Nour said at his meeting the British-Egyptian Business Association in London.
Abdel Nour said that Egypt has number of promising investment opportunities such as projects to develop the Suez Canal axis, as well as opportunities in tourism, metallurgical and petrochemical fields.
Abdel Nour also met the British minister for industry , Michael Fallon, along with Alan Duncan, the British Minister for development to discuss economic challenges.
