New visa requirement for Qataris is rejection of Qatar policies: official
Former Foreign Minister Mohamed al-Orabi - YOUM7/Hisham Said

CAIRO: Mohamed al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and head of the Conference Party, said that Egypt’s new requirement that Qatari citizens obtain a visa prior to arriving in Egypt is considered a rejection of Qatari policy and its continued support for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Orabi told Youm7 late Tuesday that Egypt is now demanding Qatari citizens obtain a visa from its embassy in Doha, instead of obtaining one upon arriving in Egyptian airports.

He said the new policy aims to return balance to who is allowed to enter Egypt because there are certain figures who cannot be allowed to enter for security reasons.
